In this interview with entrepreneur & former professional cyclist Adam Hansen we discuss post sporting career transitions. The glory days end short for most professional athletes, as they find themselves retiring relatively young, with still so much of their lives ahead. For elite athletes retirement does not mean an end to work. But retirement from sport is much more than a career switch, it’s a complete lifestyle change, and it takes an incredible amount of adjustment when the time comes to move on. In this interview Adam explains why retirement can be much less difficult when it is planned as a process rather than an event. With the right planning in place, leaving the peloton can be a truly rewarding and positive experience.
