Racing in Flanders

The Flandrien Hotel & Cycling Center is Belgium’s foremost lodging for international riders and teams who want to compete in cycling events in Flanders. The Flandrien has a full spectrum of services for riders and their families, teams, and fans.

Competing in Belgium can be confusing, with so many categories, events & registration requirements. Click here for our guide explaining Cycling Vlaanderen’s accreditation, calendar and race entry process.

Rider Stories

World Tour Professional Heinrich Haussler has used the Flandrien Hotel as his base for cyclocross racing in Belgium. We provided Heinrich with a perfect “home away from home” environment to prepare for his races. In addition to providing his accommodation and meals, Heinrich had access to our Service Course, Gym and other services such as clothes washing and drying facilities. On race day, we supported with mechanics and pit crew. And of course, Heinrich could enjoy a massage and jacuzzi at the end of a hard day of competition.

Scholarship Program

We promote diversity and inclusion in cycle sport and have launched a special Flandrien Scholarship Program for international riders who want to train and race in Belgium during the 2023 road race season.

The program is open to U19, U23, Elite and Masters athletes and offers subsidised stays between February and the end of September. We also support riders who are competing in youth categories with our Youth & Families Package.

From November we also have a program for Cyclocross Riders – contact us for more information.
